About The Founder

Mark Gray set up WWW Shop in 2003 following a number of years (since 1997) of contracting to large Government Departments and Top 200 companies in Australia and overseas.

Mark's background was primarily in the travel industry where, particularly during the early 1990's, he spent many weeks and months working as an expat. in North America and Europe, developing and promoting a unique travel industry product owned by the Jetset group called Worldmaster. Ultimately purchased by Telstra Corporation in the mis 1990's the Worldmaster product was ahead of it's time in its ability to allow travel wholesalers to package, integrate and distribute travel products to retailers and consumers worldwide. Due to its unique capabilities Worldmaster was contracted to companies like Microsoft, CNN and others to provide the International Travel engine for those brands.

After the sale of the product to Telstra, Mark took over control of another Jetset Group development, Financial Services company Moneydirect. Moneydirect facilitated credit card and EFT transactions and settlement between travel suppliers and travel agents in Australia, Europe, North America and Asia. While Mark was at the helm Moneydirect turnover was $700 Million per annum.

In 1997 Mark set up his own company and contracted back to the Jetset group and was also retained by the Bayside Health group - The Alfred Hospital, Sandringham and Caulfield Hospitals to oversee and manage the development and hosting of websites, Intranets and Recruitment services for the group.

WWW Shop was commenced in 2003 with a view to providing a broader customer base with the range of specialist services he has been providing to industry for many years.
